Blogging again...

Yes, we are back, and for the record it still takes a lot of time, but I haven't had too much to do! Merrick gets to go to our rec center with her class on Thursdays for Gym-n-jam, and Jay and I went yesterday and spied on them from the running track up above. We were rolling, it was hilarious. I know you guys all look for Mare, but make sure you watch little Reid-o. He spots me in one video, and you can hear him say my name through the glass, and he does a sweet unintentional flip off the slide. He is wearing a tan shirt, I was laughing so hard I cried.

New cousin, Milo

So I think we are done blogging..it takes so much time, maybe when things calm down a bit, we will give it another shot. She is so much better in person anyway. Hope to keep up with the webcams our family has set up, when she is in the mood of course!

Stock show

We made it to the stock show with Grandparents Neerhof. She had a blast! So much to see. It was a hectic day as parents with all sorts of bumps in the road, and to top it all off, we lost Foxy. Panic mode. We were able to buy another one( two actually) back in Breck before she even noticed but I was stressing it. Newer and cleaner Foxy hasn't left her sight since then. I shed tears over old Foxy, so sad for him that he had to spend the night without her, out in the cold. I hope someone picked him up...

Mare bear

We have both been super busy, but know not to complain. We are lucky to have the work! Merrick has a new word everyday, and the sentences get longer and longer. I really just want to thank all of our family and friends who have really made an effort to be a part of her life. She recognizes everyone now, and talks about all of you often. It really means a lot to us. She is just too special to miss out on!

Busy people...

We have been busy kids, and also have a little case of cabin fever. The temps have been in the negatives making it hard to get Merrick outside for too long. We did manage a little sledding the other night, and ran into a moose. Rikta was oblivious, these are the days I really miss Circe, she would of spotted/sensed it a mile away. Once Merrick saw it and saw how big it was, she asked to go home the long way around, then she wouldn't stop talking about it. Hoping it warms up a little!

Merrick went bananas when she saw him. Screaming his name, and then just screaming. He was kind of grumpy, but she said "Hi Santa!" to him and he cheered up and told her to be good. (He was 35 minutes late, and was probably so short with us because he had so many places to get to tonight.) She cried when we left them and said bye to him and bye reindeer at least 10 times on the way back to the car. I'm so glad I took her, I only wish I had it on video because it was so cute and funny. I only have so many hands! Merry Christmas!

Party weekend

We did two birthday parties in one day. Little Reid turned the big two, and Merrick helped out with all of his presents. She even opened some without him. After nap it was off to Rivers Star Wars party, Merrick was more than happy to put on the Yoda outfit again to celebrate the big guys 4th birthday. We had such a fun day and night!

I think the Colorado Grandparents are working on a guitar for Christmas, this one is awesome!!
