Sunday, hooray!

We had our first WHOLE day with Daddy on Sunday. It was awesome. He was there each time she woke from naps, and she LOVED it. (So did I!) It has been too long, looking forward to the end of summer (sorry gang.) and much more time together.

We walked Merrick over to where the mini snowboard park is, we wanted her to see where she will be hanging out someday.

Borrowed a friends yard for the flower shots. Check out baby #2, Rikta, looking tough and watching over lil' Mj. By the way, a tooth has reached the surface, I know how you all love updates! Poor girl was in pain today.

One more teacher to share, this is Sara, she is off to Oklahoma to become a nurse. She spent the summer with Merrick. Yesterday was her last day, we wish her well and hope she can come to Colorado again to visit!

Jobsite baby

Sunday we took Daddy lunch all the way over to Copper Mountain. I have a feeling this won't be her last jobsite! Dad is working hard as always, looking forward to an entire weekend together real soon.

Mj and I spent some time down by the river today. She loves the outdoors! I think our love for the mountains is in her little soul already. I only wish more family could be out here to enjoy this little angel.

Here he is, Merricks most special baby friend, Reid. They are best buds! Pay no attention to her messy hair or the carrot stains all over her clothes, she had a great lunch! These two have so much fun together. (Jason will keep an eye on this one.)

These are Merricks awesome teachers, Kim and Liz. They are so unbelievable. The little guy trying to hug Merrick is Jacob. Her special friend, Reid, was sleeping. I have to get a picture of the two of them together. They are too funny.

We had a great weekend together, it was hard to get back to a work week!

So this is what little Merrick does at daycare. We have so many things to save already! She is having so much fun there, it really sets my mind at ease while I am working. Looking forward to a really nice weekend together. (In between random responsibilities!) Miss everyone!

We may have missed the Cherry Festival this year in Traverse City, but she was definately there in spirit. Grandma K has set her up with the cherry duds. Still working on a late summer Michigan trip, we will keep you all posted.
