We set up a private pony ride at the stables that benefits a horse rescue. It was awesome. The lady who owned the pony showed Merrick how to groom Cinnamon, saddle her, pet her, besides taking her on a lead pony ride. Our friend Chrissy (A teacher from our pre-school) keeps her horse out there, Mustang Sally, who was part of a wild herd in Wyoming before she got her. The last picture is Sally, Merrick's eyes were huge when she got on top of the big horse. Great day! We left and she cried a little, saying "I really want cowboy boots. I really want a pony." I always wanted one...maybe!
