Anniversary

Today is our 8 year wedding anniversary. It is a pretty emotional one. Sometimes I feel like I am talking to a ghost, I can't believe that Jason is still here with us. Its not a dream, he is here. Still a wonderful Dad, still an amazing husband, son, brother and friend.

May rain

I haven't seen it rain in early May since the first year I moved out here. It was definately cold, and of course we woke to snow this morning, but Merrick loved it yesterday. Her first real experience playing in it! How crazy is that? Poor kid only sees snow...not that its a bad thing.

The pictures of Merrick and "my best friend" were from Easter, the black and whites were yesterday, we got out as a family down to the park in Breck. We are hanging in there, hoping the "fog" lifts from Jays head soon, he is doing amazing and I really am blown away with how strong my husband is. I don't think I will ever give him grief again for going to the gym too much. Keep us in thoughts, prayers, looking to make a FULL recovery, if anyone can do it, its my Jay. Thanks so much to you all for the support. We love and miss you all.

We rigged a board Merrick could ride with Jay and tried it out tonight. She LOVED it! She got mad when he stopped, it was amazing. I took video, just waiting on Vimeo...I'll put it up as soon as I can. Now I want to set up a board she can ride with me! So jealous!

Blogging again...

Yes, we are back, and for the record it still takes a lot of time, but I haven't had too much to do! Merrick gets to go to our rec center with her class on Thursdays for Gym-n-jam, and Jay and I went yesterday and spied on them from the running track up above. We were rolling, it was hilarious. I know you guys all look for Mare, but make sure you watch little Reid-o. He spots me in one video, and you can hear him say my name through the glass, and he does a sweet unintentional flip off the slide. He is wearing a tan shirt, I was laughing so hard I cried.

New cousin, Milo

So I think we are done blogging..it takes so much time, maybe when things calm down a bit, we will give it another shot. She is so much better in person anyway. Hope to keep up with the webcams our family has set up, when she is in the mood of course!
