Happy Halloween!

I couldn't pass the puppy suit by! Maybe its because every year until I was five, I was some sort of canine for halloween. Snoopy, Scooby-doo, Chewbacca. (I thought he was a dog for the longest time) A costume in a box. I still remember that sweet smell from the plastic mask I got to wear.

We headed to the daycare pizza costume party tonight, then downtown to see Marty and his dog Woods. Good times! Have a great Halloween! Hand out apples!

Park day

Yesterday was really warm so we took Merrick to the park. She loved the swing and she loved spending time with her Daddy.

Sledding peanut

We took Merrick out for a winter adventure on Sunday. We couldn't stay out long because of wind and cold temperatures, but she loved it.

Fall Harvest

You have to love the mountains. Where else can you have a hay ride one day, and the very next a foot of snow? I think I see a sled in our future.

Snow day

We received a foot of snow over the weekend. You should of seen how big Merricks eyes were. Her whole landscape around her changed and it was really cool to watch her taking it all in. Grandma K is going to be o.k. A lot of healing ahead, but we are so happy, and relieved. I know that my Mom would want to see yet another cute picture of Merrick up here, so this one is for her. (And the rest of you, of course!)
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, now my next hope is that my Mom will be able to travel out for the peanuts 1st birthday....I'm not giving up on that one yet!

I really didn't want to use the little peanuts blog for this issue with my Mom, but I know lots of people check in, lots of people know my Mom, and I want to get lots of positive thoughts and prayers headed my Moms way. I appreciate it so much...she is doing well, please keep the other people involved in this accident in mind as well, I hope everyone recovers from this.

Pajama party

I couldn't resist the bedhead or her little smile. She is sitting up in her crib every morning and she even pulled herself up to a stand last night. Crusing now! She seems to get cuter overnight.

Last days of fall

Yesterday may have been our last fall hike, woke up to a dusting of snow down low, can't say that we mind it. Life is good, Merrick is amazing.

Merrick turned 10 months old yesterday. I can't believe we have made it this far! The peanut is doing really well.

Fun weekend

Grandma and Grandpa Neerhof came up to the mountains on Sunday to check out some of Jays work on the parade of homes. We had some good park time and an awesome dinner before they headed home. Still busy with work, but can feel the end is near..hearing about chances of snow.

Michigan trip

Straight off the plane Mj was in a pool at Grandpa and Grandma Corcorans. A few days later she took her first dip in Lake Leelanau at the sandbar, then to wrap things up , she took her first train ride with Grandma K...busy, busy girl! She also cut 4 more teeth while she was there. (The count is now at 6!) Working on crawling, we will keep you posted!

Home sweet home.

Be patient folks, about 800 pictures taken...I'm sick, Merrick got kicked out of daycare our first day back because she got sick. (ALL over the place.) Traveling STINKS! Horrible plane rides back, little girl screamed the whole way. Lots of catch-up to do and I am exhausted. Still trying to figure out how I came home from a vacation more tired than when I stay home and work 3 jobs. Hope these hold you over.

I had to get some pictures up, I haven't posted in a while and I am hearing about it!
Fuzzy shots, I'll try to get clearer ones this afternoon. She loves her new shades even though they are for a bigger kid. She tried them on at Martys and left them on, so my friend and I decided she had to keep them. (Thanks Marty!)

I want to go fast

Jay and I don't have a lot of space in the apartment. We "test-drive" various toys from our friends next door who have grandchildren, and we see what the little one likes, decide if she has to have it kind of thing. Well, it is a given that this girl will have a big wheel. I don't how many big wheels Jay and his brothers destroyed. Merrick went right for the handle bars, and immediately started to push herself forward on this thing. I realize she is a little young for this bad boy, but I could not resist throwing her on it. As soon as she can reach the pedals, I will get her one, and you KNOW it won't be pink.

I LOVE WEDNESDAY!

Merrick and I have so much fun on my day off. We did a little of everything today. I can't get enough of my little girl.

Michigan bound

Merrick and I will be in T.C from August 22nd thru the 29th. My brother Josh is having a graduation party and I want to be there. He hasn't met Mj yet! Hopefully I can see a lot of you, as long as it involves me laying around the water somewhere...whether its at the lake or the bay. This trip, I am going to make sure that I rest. Not too sure if Jay is coming or not, he may pull off a couple of days, busy guy. Mark your calenders! See you soon.
